Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at The Machan. The rooms were incredibly hot, which was quite uncomfortable, but the service was top-notch, very accommodating, and much appreciated after a previous booking fiasco. The location, amidst the beautiful greenery of the hill slopes, was truly fabulous, offering a unique and peaceful stay. The dining experience was satisfactory, especially with the lovely jungle surroundings. The facilities were decent overall.
The hotel has lovely rooms tastefully done up, but with noticeable footsteps noise and frequent power cut-offs. The service is cooperative and polite, although some inconvenience with random trash collection. The location offers a fantastic forest view but might be tricky to find without GPS. The dining experience is good, but can get crowded and messy. The hotel lacks some flowering trees and kid activities but excels in starlight machans and treetop ambiance.
Staying here was really nice with clean rooms and a great view, making it feel like spending the entire day inside. The courteous and friendly service added to the pleasant experience, although there were some noise disturbances. The location amongst the forest with a view of the valley and mountains was stunning, even though the surroundings were a bit rough in terrain. The dining experience was quite nice with simple but tasty food. Overall, a cozy and scenic stay worth revisiting.
